Introduction to advanced web environment

Define a web:-

Collection of electronic pages is called web. it was developed by Tim berners-lee, He is a father of web environment.

Define Network:-

Collection of computers interlinked together to exchange resources. 

1)  First Network name is ARPA NET (Advanced research projects agency net) , It is developed between two systems.

Define Internet:- 

International network or Networks of Networks or Collection of TCP /IP communication protocols.

Father of Internet is VINT CERF

Define TCP:- 

Transmission control protocols, it always represents  the connectivity between computers in a networks.

Define IP:-

Internet Protocols, it always represents connectivity between networks.

Define WWW:-

It is an information space where documents and other web resources or Identified by URL.

Define W3C:- (World Wide Web Consortium)

It is an organisation to maintain web standards , giving policies to improve web standards. It was founded in 1994 by TIM BERNERS LEE.
             It is collection of members, partnership, it contains 430 members , if you well known members are

2)IBM
3)Face Book
4)Google
5)Bank Of India......etc

Define URL:-

A URL is a URI. A URL is one type of Uniform Resource Identifier (URI); the generic term for all types of names and addresses that refer to objects on the World Wide Web. The term "Web address" is a synonym for a URL that uses the HTTP or HTTPS protocol.
